A 23-year-old man was killed Saturday night in a shooting at a Marion County apartment complex.
Ocala police responded around 10 p.m. to a unit in the Laurel Park Apartments, located at 100 N.W. 23rd Ave., in reference to a reported shooting.
When police arrived, they found Delvontaye Boyd dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
Witnesses told police they observed an unknown man leaving the apartment with items he took from inside the unit. He was seen driving away from the complex in a late-model sedan, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
