Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning actor Jim Parsons met his wax figure that will be part of Madame Tussauds Orlando.

Parsons, best known for his role as physicist Sheldon Cooper on the hit show "The Big Bang Theory” met with Madame Tussauds artists in Los Angeles in July 2014 to take facial and body measurements.

“Every detail on this figure is incredibly accurate and precise,” said Parsons. “From the color of the eyes to the facial features, you can tell how hard the artists and sculptors work to achieve such a realistic portrayal.”

Madame Tussauds Oralndo is part of Merlin Entertainments new I-Drive 360 complex that also includes the Orlando Eye, a 400-foot-tall observation wheel and  Sea Life Orlando Aquarium.  The attractions open May 4.
