Planet Hollywood has announced plans to build a luxury resort minutes away from Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

The 436 unit ph Premiere Hotel & Spa Orlando will be located on Lake Bryan along South Apopka Vineland Road and feature what the developer describes as expertly designed one, two, three and four-bedroom units.

The prices range from $290,000 for a 437-square-foot unit up to $1.8 million for a four-bedroom penthouse.

“I think it’s due in Orlando, actually," said Fortune International President and CEO Edgardo Defortuna. "I think that to bring that to Orlando is something that, it’s a must. The culture of the buyer has changed and they appreciate art. They appreciate nice architecture. They appreciate spaces that are not flashy, but luxurious and comfortable and it’s a way of life.”

There will also be a spa and a 35,000-square-foot swimming pool.

The developer, New York-based Azzurra Development LLC, has not said when groundbreaking will take place or when the resort will open.
