4 people injured in Tangelo Park shooting

The Orange County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting in the Tangelo Park area around 9 p.m.

Sheriff’s deputies said they believe the shooting was a drive-by and is an isolated incident.

Detectives spent the night gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.

One of the victims was in a truck driving by when shots rang out. He called 911.

A man who was standing in a yard was also shot along with two other people in a nearby vehicle.

Even a bicycle at the scene was struck by bullets.

The victims were transported to ORMC.

“People were in a moving vehicle firing at other people who were outside in this area. Four people were shot tonight and we’re lucky more people were not shot tonight with all the rounds in this condensed residential area,” said Lt. Paul Hopkins from the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS (8477).
