One person is dead following a two-car crash in Orlando, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

It happened Friday just at 5:10 p.m. at the intersection of Econlockhatchee Trail and Sundance Court.

Troopers said Deborah Burden, 68, attempted to make a left turn onto Econlockhatchee and pulled into the path of oncoming pickup truck. The front of the truck stuck the left side of Burden’s car.

Burden was taken to Florida Hospital East where she died.

The driver of the pickup, 47-year-old Alan Tomlinson, was seriously injured and taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.  A passenger in his car suffered minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
