Nineteen people were hurt after a Lynx bus and a car collided along Americana Boulevard near the intersection with San Antonio Avenue.
Guimort Duarte, 23, of Orlando, was traveling east on Americana Boulevard.
The Lynx bus, driven by 45-year-old Rosa Bauza, was stopped at a bus stop with about 40 passengers on the bus, facing east.
Duarte told troopers the sun was in his eyes and didn't see the Lynx bus.
The front of Duarte's two-door Honda struck the rear of the bus, troopers said.
Troopers said there was one person exiting the bus at the time of the crash. A total of 16 people from the bus were transported to three different hospitals with minor injuries.
Three people refused transport at the scene, according to Orange County Fire Rescue Officials.
Duarte was ticketed for careless driving, troopers said.
