Here's what you need to know for Central Florida's weather for the weekend:

  • A few showers still possible Sunday before the dry air moves in
  • Drier next week

We had a warm and humid start to the weekend with temperatures climbing quickly Saturday afternoon into mid to upper 80s.  A cold front moving south will bring in drier and cooler air Sunday that will stick around and make this upcoming week feel pretty good.

Expect partly cloudy skies through the overnight hours.  Temperatures will be mild, falling into the upper 60s to low 70s.

The front is expected to drop south Sunday, but a few showers will still be possible before the dry air moves in.  With winds switching to the north, temperatures will drop back a bit into the mid to low 80s.  We’ll stay in the mid to low 80s for the majority of the week with overnight lows in the mid-60s.  A dry pattern will set up with not much in the way of rain right on through next weekend.

In the tropics, no tropical development is expected in the next five days.
