Investigators are trying to determine how an elderly woman died overnight in a southern Brevard County mobile home community.
Brevard County Sheriff's Office detectives were called to a home along Gladiolus Drive, in Barefoot Bay, overnight after getting reports of a death. Crime scene technicians have been documenting the scene for evidence while investigators have been questioning neighbors.
Investigators said three people live in the home. The woman's death is being called suspicious.
"A lot of this is us trying to piece together the last week or so," said Mjr. Tod Goodyear, of the Brevard County Sheriff's Office. "Find out what the movements were and what circumstances may have led to the death of the individual."
Investigators said an autopsy could happen today.
The woman's identification hasn't been released.
