A West Melbourne store was damaged Sunday after police say a woman drove through the glass windows of the store.
The West Melbourne Police Department says around 5:45 p.m. the driver pulled into a parking space facing the Vitamin Shoppe located at 1653 W. New Haven Avenue and thought she had put the vehicle in park.
Officers said she then felt the vehicle continue to move forward, panicked and pressed the gas pedal causing the vehicle to go over the curb and through the glass windows of the store.
None of the vehicles three passengers or people in the store was injured.
