A mother was killed and her son was injured Saturday night in an ATV crash in Lake County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Dillon Ash, 21, of Eustis, was driving the ATV with his 43-year-old mother, Melissa Cole, also of Eustis, as the passenger around 9:20 p.m., near the intersection of County Road 44-A and June Avenue.

An alcohol test of Ash is pending, the report states.
