An Orange County Sheriff's Office deputy and another man both suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Deputy Brian Gabutti, 51, of Orlando, was traveling southbound on International Drive approaching Central Florida Parkway with his emergency lights flashing on his marked Sheriff's Office car around 9:25 a.m.

Mark Battles, 47, of Orlando, was traveling eastbound on Central Florida Parkway on a solid green light.

As both Gabutti and Battles entered the intersection, the front of Battles' Chrysler 300 struck the right side of Gabutti's patrol cruiser.

Gabutti and Battles both suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
