Orange County deputies are trying to find a man who broke into a Lake Nona area home using the homeowners spare key.

They released a composite sketch of the suspect Thursday.

Deputies said the man knew where the spare key was to a house in the Lake Hart subdivision. He got in through the front door and made off with hundreds of dollars.

“They should always hide their spare key," said Jane Watrel, sheriff's office spokesperson. "Move it, you know. Because if too many people know where it is, someone’s going to tell someone. Someone’s going to go and take it and someone’s going to use it to get into your house.”

Investigators think the burglar may know the victim. Other neighbors said they were also victims of burglary. If you recognize this man or have any information that could lead to an arrest, you’re asked to call CrimeLine at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
