A 57-year-old man was killed Saturday morning and two others were injured in a two-car crash in Flagler County, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
George Kwasniak, of Wichita, Kansas, was westbound at a stop sign on 16th Road, in Flagler Beach, around 11:55 a.m. Colleen Hees, 41, of Palm coast, was traveling northbound on State Road A1A.
For unknown reasons, Kwasniak didn't see Hess and attempted to make a left turn to head south on A1A.
The front of Hess' vehicle struck the left side of Kwasniak's vehicle, troopers said.
Kwasniak was pronounced dead at the hospital around 1 p.m. The passenger, Vicky Kwasniak, 58, was listed in critical condition. Hess sustained serious injuries, the report states.
