A chemical leak at a Waffle House in Orange County Monday morning prompted an evacuation of the restaurant, at East Colonial Drive and Alafaya Trail.
Orange County Fire Rescue said the leak stemmed from drain cleaner mixed with bleach.
Three employees were transported as a precaution after they reported feeling sick from exposure to the chemicals, firefighters said.
The Waffle House was expected to open a short time after firefighter began wrapping up their investigation around 11:30 a.m. Monday.
