A group of students in Brevard County are giving back in a big way this holiday season.
Students at Manatee Elementary School in Viera have been raising money and collecting items since the week of Thanksgiving.
Monday, they will donate everything they’ve received for those in need on the Space Coast.
The students brought in toys and gifts for Grandparents Raising Grandchildren.
They collected pet food, blankets and cleaning supplies for the Humane Society.
They also made boxes in art class and collected more than $2,500 in change to help homeless families in Brevard.
It’s all a part of the school’s Thanks For Giving Campaign, organized by the school’s PTO.
