Another big attraction is expected to be announced next week for the I-Drive 360 area, joining the under-construction Orlando Eye and the planned 570-foot-tall Skyscraper Skyplex "Polercoaster."

Orlando-based Unicorp National Developments, one of the developers behind the Orlando Eye, said Tuesday it's planning a "major" announcement on Nov. 18 regarding a new attraction and new name at the former Gooding's Plaza on International Drive, near the I-Drive 360 site south of Sand Lake Road.

"The announcement of the new attraction is particularly exciting, because this will be the largest of its kind and will be sure to create a buzz in the community," said Daina Rodak-Todd, with Unicorp.

News 13 has learned Unicorp is making its big announcement for Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 11 a.m., in conjunction with the 2014 IAAPA Attractions Expo, which kicks off its annual trade show that same day.

The new attraction will be located in the same plaza as Kings Bowl Orlando, adjacent to the Orlando Eye grounds.
