A cell phone charger is being blamed for a fire that caused a fire in a home in southwest Palm Bay.
Firefighters responded to a home on Olivia St. SW around 5 p.m. Saturday.
Firefighters say a mattress box spring caught fire. Investigators believe the occupant of the home was charging a phone on top of the mattress. The charger sparked the fire.
No one was hurt.
The house is worth about $100,000, but the fire only did about $5,000 damage.
