A well-known political consultant learns he will spend the next 15 month in prison for failing to file tax returns.

Douglas Guetzloe faced a maximum of two years in federal prison. He was convicted of failing to file personal tax returns for the 2005 and 2006 tax years.

Guetzloe made $180,000 in both of those years and owed about $39,000 to the government.

Guetzloe founded the Ax-The-Tax group. He served 42 days of a 60-day jail sentence last year after being convicted of an election law violation involving a campaign flier that did not have a required disclaimer.
