Update: 1:26 p.m. - Authorities have canceled the Florida Amber Alert for missing Dominic Caprio, 4, out of Jupiter, Florida. 

Officials said the case has been resolved, but offered no further details. 

Original Report: Authorities have arrested a nanny who had been caring for a missing 4-year-old Florida boy.

An Amber Alert was issued Friday morning for Dominic Caprio, 4, out of Jupiter. 

Jupiter police told news outlets that Caprio disappeared Thursday afternoon and may be in danger. Officials believe the boy is with Elizabeth Caprio, 60, and Luis Caprio, 64. They did not explain the relationship between the boy and the elderly couple. 

The child's mother told police she left Caprio with the nanny at their home north of West Palm Beach. When she returned an hour later, both were gone. 

Police tracked down the nanny, Blanca Castro, 57, and she was taken into custody. Castro was booked into jail in Miami and is being held without bond. 

Officials said the boy and the Caprio's may be traveling in a 2013, blue BMW 740I, with a Florida tag number CBDB47.

The boy is 3 feet tall, 44 lbs, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray pajama top with dinosaurs and green shorts.

Elizabeth Caprio is 5'5", 140 lbs, and has blonde hair and brown eyes. Luis Caprio is 6 feet tall, 200 lbs, and has brown hair and eyes.
