Bright House Networks is making it easier for customers to reach out to their friends and family in the devastated region of Nepal with free-of-charge phone calls.
Anyone who has Bright House Networks digital phone service will be able to make calls to Nepal at no cost through May 31, 2015. Any calls placed since April 25 will be included as well.
Customers who make calls to mobile or land lines in Nepal during that period will receive a credit on their Home Phone account. Those credits will appear on customer accounts in June, 2015. Calls to operators or directory assistance are not considered direct dial calls, so those will be charged the usual rate.
