Dozens of vendors showed off their handmade goods, while others tried traditional foods.

One of the main events of the day was the dancers.

Spectators weren't only able to watch them, but also learn their purpose, which organizers say is the biggest goal of the festival.

“I hope they have a little bit better understanding of Native Americans and the culture and understand that it's not all like they see on TV or in the movies but there's more to it than that," festival co-organizer Paul DeLuna said.

DeLuna said the festival has continued to grow each year and this year was no exception.
