The aromas that come out of a Latin festival are like nothing else. But when you toss in live Latin music, the cultural authenticity is heightened into “Viva La Música.”

  1. Jonathan Abrevaya is SeaWorld Orlando's executive sous chef. We caught up with him at an arepa station as he prepped for the weekend festivities. “All my family grew up with all Latin cuisine,” Jonathan said. “Every day, rice and beans … empanadas and everything else from my family, from my Puerto Rican side, and this is pretty much what kinda we ate.”

  2. From arepas to paella, Viva La Música features six fresh marketplaces celebrating the visuals, the vibes, and, of course, the tastes of Latin cuisine.

  3. The limited-time offerings are inspired by the colorful flavors of the Caribbean, Spain, and Central and South America.

  4. Viva La Música is this Saturday and Sunday, May 21 and 22, from noon until the park closes.

  5. Well-known Latin artists take the stage at 2 and 5 p.m. at the Nautilus theater.
