The Orlando Sentinel's celebrated photojournalist, Red Huber, is now putting his 46 years of storytelling on display. After sifting through nearly a half-century of photographic “moments," the photojournalist is retelling Central Florida's rich history.

1. “As a news photographer, you have to, at a moment's notice, be ready," Red Huber tells us. Ready he is, as his accessory is a heavy-nosed click camera, draped over his shoulder.

2. Red is well-known in Central Florida (and beyond) for clicking and capturing moments none of us will forget. These range from the Casey Anthony and George Zimmerman trials, to slices of joy and victory and empowerment true to the Florida spirit.

3. Red started at the Sentinel back in '72. (Yep, he had trademark red hair and sported some chops). “I was employed for 46 years and never worked a day in my life.”

4. In a new partnership with Snap! Orlando (Downtown), Red has selected nearly 44 images that tell our story.

“Unexpected moments are the best because they're real," he tells us. “You just never know. You just never know what can happen.”

5. Red's exhibition is called "Eyewitness." It's located at Snap! Downtown, 420 E. Church Street, Orlando, through January 22. The space is open 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
