ORLANDO, Fla.  Temperatures rebounded quickly Wednesday with breezy winds out of the south.

Highs all over Central Florida made it into the mid to upper 70s. While there were a few clouds around during the afternoon, we still had plenty of sunshine peek through.

Clouds will increase overnight as a cold front moves in. This front will bring a decent chance for showers and storms early Thursday and will bring cooler temperatures back for the end of our work week.

Clouds will start to increase early, with showers and storms moving in as we head toward daybreak Thursday. Some of the storms may hold gusty wind and heavy rain. Temperatures will be mild, falling into the mid to upper 60s.

The chance for rain and storms will stick around through lunchtime Thursday as the front moves through. There is a slight chance that the storms could be strong with high wind being the main threat.

Rain will begin to clear out during the afternoon as winds switch to the northwest. This wind will bring some drier and cooler air in, so temperatures will actually start to fall before the sun sets.

Highs Friday and into the weekend will be back below average, in the mid to low 60s with overnight lows in the mid to low 40s.

Beach and Surf Forecast

High wind will accompany this front and will create hazardous ocean conditions. A Small Craft Advisory has been issued and there is a high rip current threat.
