After a stretch of spring-like temperatures, a brief chill is set to move into Central Florida.

A cold front will roll through Central Florida late Sunday evening into Monday morning.

  • Temperatures will fall back into the 60s for highs on Monday and Tuesday of the upcoming week

  • Morning temperatures will be in the 40s and lower 50s for start the of the new week

  • Marion County could feel temperatures in the lower 40s by Tuesday morning

This front will bring a brief shot at rain late Sunday night into early Monday morning.

Ahead of the cold front, temperatures will be in the 80s on Sunday and close to record highs.

However, by Monday, you may be reaching for a jacket or sweatshirt.

Temperatures will slide back into the 60s for afternoon highs, while overnight lows will tumble into the lower 50s and 40s areawide.

Temperatures will only reach the low to middle 60s for highs on Monday, while morning temperatures will be in the 40s. 

Places like Marion County will likely feel temperatures in the 30s, especially by Tuesday morning.

Temperatures will slowly warm back up into the 70s for highs starting Wednesday and Thursday.
