BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will shift into holiday mode next month with the return of Holidays in Space.

For the event, which runs Dec. 15 through Dec. 30, the complex will roll out new seasonal decor and a new Rocket Tree Trail behind the Orbit Cafe.

Other decor visitors can find around the complex includes a 50-foot tree in the Rocket Garden, six-foot-tall astronaut nutcrackers, the NASA meatball holiday ornament and large photo backdrops.

Holidays in Space will again feature “Starflake’s Holiday Voyage,” a six-minute nighttime projection show on the outside of the Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex.

“With all the current excitement around space exploration as we anticipate eventual voyages to the Moon and Mars, the visitor complex is a hub for learning, inspiration and fun, especially with it decked out for the holidays,” Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex COO Therrin Protze said in a statement.

Holidays in Space is included included with admission to the visitor complex, which is $75 for an adult one-day ticket and $65 for children.
