It’s been over a year since the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, an attack driven by political division.

Hate is nothing new, and hate in politics is nothing new, either, but every time there is a new incident, we generally wind up saying “this is the worst it’s ever been”, and then of course, the next incident is “the worst it’s ever been” and so on and so forth.

How do we course-correct before it’s too late?  What should we be looking out for?

Jonathan Greenblatt is the chief executive officer of the Anti-Defamation League and author of “IT COULD HAPPEN HERE: Why America Is Tipping From Hate to The Unthinkable — And How We Can Stop It”.

He will share his thoughts in the latest Beyond the Soundbite podcast.
