KISSIMMEE, Fla. — The Saturday Nite Classic Car Show at Old Town in Kissimmee is touted as America's longest-running weekly car show. It's back on, although with fewer participants to allow for proper spacing.

1. Meet a car show regular: David Dean, 84, has hardly missed a Saturday night cruise.

“I've been cruising at Old Town for 30 years,” he tells us inside his Kissimmee showroom, housing seven restored classics, including a 1928 Packard to a 1956 Mercedes.

“One of only 87 built,” he says. “I've had people follow me from Old Town, come to my house, plop in the driveway at home to take a picture of it.”

2. His Thunderbird: During Old Town's car show and cruise, however, the man proudly steering the red '55 Thunderbird is probably Dean.

“It's the easiest and nicest to drive.”

3. Feeling joy: The Air Force retiree lost hid beloved wife, Arlene. They were married for 52 years. Having the car club camaraderie has helped bring him joy after the loss of a lifetime.

4.  Other car enthusiasts: To meet Dean and fellow classic car enthusiasts, the classic car show is now from 1 p.m. – 9 p.m. The cruise starts at 4 p.m. (if you're into muscle cars, that show is on Fridays from 3 – 9 p.m.)

5. Music: Live music is also back on Saturdays, happening from 6 – 9 p.m. at the Old Town Main Stage.
