Buffalo Fire investigators have ruled Monday's two-alarm fire behind the Central Terminal as arson. They are asking for anyone with information to come forward.

The blaze started on railroad tracks behind the Terminal shortly after 9 p.m. Monday, according to investigators. A large amount of tires at the site also caught fire, contributing to the heavy smoke. It took firefighters nearly two hours to get the flames under control.

The unique spot created issues for first responders, who had to use ladder trucks to reach the flames.

Fire officials estimate damages at around $50,000 as they continue to investigate the cause of the fire.

Anyone with information regarding the fire is asked to call the Arson Tip Line at (716) 851-4515.
