TAMPA, FLA. — Back in August 2021, Florida Fish and Wildlife posted on their Facebook page asking for Floridians to be on the lookout for certain stinky animals here in Florida — the striped skunk and the spotted skunk. This is to help researchers map the animals' ranges.

The Facebook post did some impressive numbers on their page, sporting more than 4,000 shares.

In an effort to get more people involved, they posted it again asking for the public’s help. So, if you’re out and about, keep your eyes peeled and be sure to report your sightings here on the FWC Skunk Survey.
