The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission plans to increase its presence on the water this weekend in an effort to curb intoxicated boating incidents.
According to the FWC, 23% of boating fatalities in the state were related to alcohol or drug consumption last year.
FWC warns its officers will arrest anyone caught boating while under the influence.
