ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Gideon’s Bakehouse, which serves massive, hand-made cookies, is opening a new location at Disney Springs.

​​The shop will be located in The Landing area, just across from Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, and is expected to open sometime later this year.

Gideon’s Bakehouse serves cookies with traditional and unique flavors, including Peanut Butter Crisp, Cookies & Cream and Pistachio Toffee Dark Chocolate—with each cookie weighing about half a pound. It’s popular Coffee Cake Cookie will be on sale every morning. The Disney Springs location will also have a Hot Cookie Hour each evening.

In additional to cookies, Gideon’s Bakehouse will offer cakes and its own line of iced coffees. The Disney Springs location will feature an expanded menu that includes new and limited edition offerings.

“This opportunity is truly a dream come true and will allow us to flex our creative muscle in both desserts and décor,” Gideon’s Bakehouse owner and creator Steve Lewis said in a statement. “We’re passionate, inspired and ready.”

Gideon’s Bakehouse currently has a location at East End Market on Corrine Drive in Orlando. It’s one of several businesses set to open new locations at Disney Springs, including the M&Ms Store and Beatrix.
