KISSIMMEE, Fla. — One Kissimmee teen is channeling his rage regarding racial injustice into poetry he shares with the world through the internet.

Jadrien Guerra shares on YouTube poetry he's written about his experiences with racism.

He said he's been racially profiled in the past, and because of that and everything happening around him he wants to express his fears and anxiety using an open mic.

Jadrien added that he's grateful his experiences are something he can talk about with his mother when issues of race can be so difficult to talk about in families.

“I feel like if this could bring peace to somebody else and if another kid or adult, no matter what their age is, if they feel like they’ve been hiding a talent and now is the time to bring it out, because of my poetry or my art, then so be it,” Jadrien said.
