The coronavirus pandemic temporarily shutdown in-person services in Mid-March.

Anthony Asenjo said he can finally learn when he can take his Oath of Allegiance during his naturalization ceremony after a year of waiting.

“It’s going to be awesome," Asenjo said. "I’m trying to get that date before the election. I’ve been looking forward to voting — that’s what I’ve been waiting for.”

The naturalization can only be done in person not virtually or over the phone.
