DADE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Amber Alert issued for 2-year-old Jesmine Cedillo-Ramirez has been canceled, according to the Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement

  • Amber Alert issued for Jesmine Cedillo-Ramirez, 2, canceled
  • FDLE says the case has been resolved, Jesmine is safe
  • Homestead Police: Diego Cedillo-Hernandez still at large 

According to authorities, Jesmine is safe and has been located. 

"The case has been resolved," FDLE said in a news release. 

Homestead Police Department in a news release said authorities are in the process of reuniting Jesmine with her mother. 

The toddler was initially reported missing Thursday and was last seen in the area of the 39th block of 9th Street in Homestead, Florida.

Before the cancelation, FDLE says Jesmine may have been in the company of Diego Cedillo-Hernandez, 23, who was last seen wearing a beige and green shirt and jeans.

The vehicle he was driving has been located. Homestead Police said officers are still searching for Cedillo-Hernandez, who is still at large.
