CLERMONT, Fla. — Strong winds from storms overturned a RV with six people inside near the Lake-Polk County line on Tuesday.

  • Storms also took down billboard, knocked over wall

The RV was knocked on its side at the Lake Magic RV Resort on U.S. 192 and U.S. 27, in the Four Corners area.

Six people, including two children, were inside the RV at the time, Polk County Fire Rescue said.

Winds also blew over a billboard that toppled over into trees, and part of a concrete wall fell over.

Charlie Hayes, a general contractor working on a nearby store, said the storm came through with strong winds and even hail.

"We heard coming from backside the building and stuff started flying... The fences down... It was kind of crazy," Hayes said.

No injuries have been reported.
