Even healthy adults can suffer symptoms like high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.

Southern Specialties said it shipped the recalled product to one retail distribution center. Most of the product was retrieved, though some products shipped earlier this month might have reached stores in the following states:

  • Alabama
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Kentucky
  • Mississippi
  • North Carolina
  • South Carolina
  • Tennessee
  • Virginia

The company said anyone with the products should either dispose of it or return it to its original place of purchase for a refund.
