ORLANDO, Fla. — A threat left in a bathroom at Timber Springs Middle School in Orange County forced the evacuation of the school Friday.

The principal of Timber Springs Middle School later issued a message to parents that the threat wasn't credible, but administrators decided to evacuate the school as a precaution.

No one was hurt.

"I want to let you know we were made aware of a written threat found in a restroom. Out of an abundance of caution, our school has currently been evacuated. Students and staff are safely on the track," Principal Eric Cantrell said in the message.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office was notified and is looking into the threat, Cantrell said.

Sheriff's and school district officials said no threat was found.
