CHULUOTA, Fla. — A newly-released document details family issues that arose before a mother, father, and son were found dead in Chuluota Friday.

Another son, Grant Amato, 29, was arrested Monday morning and charged with premeditated murder.

A judge denied Amato bond during a first appearance Monday.

According to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, 59-year-old Chad Amato, 61-year-old Margaret Amato and 31-year-old Cody Amato were all found shot to death inside their Chuluota home on Sultan Circle on Friday.

Grant Amato is the son of Chad and Margaret Amato, and brother to Cody Amato.

A newly-released arrest document says other family members told investigators that Amato had stolen $200,000 from his family to interact with an online call girl from Bulgaria.

They say his family told him to either check into a rehab facility for sex addiction or leave the house. Investigators say when Amato left the facility, the family said he could only stay if he stopped contacting the call girl.

The document says on Thursday, Grant Amato's father caught him trying to contact the woman, and kicked him out.

On Friday, investigators went to the Amato house after a well-being check came in from Cody Amato's workplace. That's when the family was found dead, and Grant Amato was determined to be missing.

“I think there are some mental health issues," said Jeffery Dowdy, the public defender assigned to represent Amato. "There is certainly motive,  and family issues there as you mention, but there is no weapon, no forensics evidence at this point, it may be coming but at this point I don’t have anything of that to go on.”

Investigators say they used toll records to track down Grant Amato's car, and later found him at a DoubleTree hotel in Orange County.

Detectives held him for questioning, but later released him. It's not known exactly what led detectives to arrest Amato Monday.
