ORLANDO, Fla. -- Wawa plans to hire up to 1,000 new workers for its stores in Florida.

The company will be filling a variety of positions at its 160 stores across the state, including full-time and part-time jobs.
Select Wawa store will host open house hiring events on January 16 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
About 25 stores in the Central Florida area and 20 stores in the Tampa area will hold open houses. A list of participating stores can be found here.

Wawa is hiring for stores that are already open, and for locations opening soon. Wawa is opening seven new locations in Ocala and the Tampa area in the coming months.
