MELBOURNE, Fla. — The man accused of shooting three people in Melbourne on New Year's Day will face a judge on Wednesday.

Police say William Brian Stillwell fired the shots in the Longwood subdivision on Woods-mill Drive. He surrendered after a brief standoff.

The three people who were shot were all taken to the hospital.

There were two kids in the home at the time of the shooting, but they are OK.

Stillwell is charged with three counts of attempted felony murder.
