  • Nicolas Palazuelos was arrested last week and charged with stalking

Nicolas Palazuelos, 18, was arrested late last week and charged with stalking and sexual cyber-harassment, according to an Orange County Sheriff's Office arrest affidavit.

A woman told investigators she worked with Palazuelos at Disney World and that they became friends in September. She said Palazuelos soon after became "possessive and would not give her space," the arrest affidavit said. The woman said he would show up uninvited at the Vista Way apartment complex, where she lived, and demand to see her.

When the woman refused to answer Palazuelos' calls, texts, and emails, he sent photos he had taken of her through an open bathroom door to her friends and family in Australia, according to the arrest affidavit. The woman said she then blocked him from her social media accounts and he "demanded" she unblock him. The woman told investigators that she began to fear for her safety.

Palazuelos reportedly would show up at her workplace at the Magic Kingdom, follow her home, and wait in a parking lot across the street from the entrance of the complex, according to investigators. He also reportedly called the woman 12 times one evening. She told investigators she was "afraid to go to work, afraid to step out of her apartment or open her phone" because Palazuelos might be waiting for her, the affidavit said.

Investigators then went the Polynesian Resort, where Palazuelos worked. They met with Palazuelos and learned he was part of a internal Disney World investigation. Based on statements the woman made, deputies arrested Palazuelos at the hotel, they said.

Palazuelos denied the allegations and said two met on Tinder and agreed to go on a date. After a month, he said he noticed the relationship deteriorating, but that he didn't remember the woman ever telling him that she did not want any contact with him, according to the arrest affidavit.

Palazuelos admitted to taking photos of the woman through an open bathroom door after she had showered. But he said she had agreed to let him take them.

"The safety of our cast members is of the upmost importance," a Disney spokesperson said in an email. "The individual is not currently working pending the outcome of the investigation."
