KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Thousands in Central Florida will be getting gifts this holiday season, thanks to Toys for Tots.
- About 30,000 toys collected through Disney castmembers
- Toys were delivered to Toys for Tots Thursday
The Disney VoluntEARS program collected about 30,000 toys for the organization, and delivered them Thursday.
The toys were delivered, with the help of several Minnie Vans, to the Toys for Tots distribution warehouse in Kissimmee.
It was a team effort.
"We have Marines, we have Navy, we have all branches of the armed forces helping, we have volunteers" Sgt. Ash Jacques stated. "This is a massive operation to ensure that we don't have any children that don't get a toy this Christmas."
Every year Disney castmembers donate thousands of toys to Toys for Tots.
