ORLANDO, Fla. — Firefighters are investigating two fires they say were intentionally set Thursday morning, part of a string of trash fires occurring across downtown Orlando.

A total of nine fires have been set over the course of a week, including the two on Hillcrest Street reported to the Orlando Fire Department on Thursday.

Firefighters say the blazes have been intentionally set inside garbage cans or garbage dumps.

The fires that happened early last week were in the Lake Eola Heights area.

Officials say no arrests have been made.
