ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run overnight at Clarcona Road and Gilliam Road in Orange County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, an unknown vehicle traveling southbound on Clarcona Road rear-ended a bicyclist, causing the bike to travel into a ditch.
The victim, a 57-year-old male, was found at 3:15 a.m. and pronounced dead on scene.
A neighbor told troopers he heard what he thought was a crash at about 2:30 a.m., but was unable to locate anyone.
Troopers said they found the right side mirror housing from the vehicle that fled the scene. They are working to identify what type of vehicle the part comes from.
Troopers believe the vehicle will have right, front damage to the reflector and right side mirror.
