ORLANDO, Fla. -- The 2018 Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards will take place tonight at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.

The awards ceremony the best television produced in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama and Puerto Rico.
Spectrum News 13 and Spectrum Bay News 9 are nominated in several categories, including News Special for the Hurricane Irma special and Documentary for "Opioid Crisis: Raising Heroin's Children."
The ceremony kicks off at 7:30 p.m. But before the awards are handed out, Spectrum News 13 anchor Ybeth Bruzual will co-host a red-carpet event starting at 5 p.m.
