NEW YORK - Governor Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday announced that he has no plans for a White House run in 2020.

He made the comments during an interview on WNYC's "Bryan Lehrer Show".

"I am ruling it out. I ran for governor. I have a full plate. I have many projects. I'm going to be here doing the job of governor. I'm working on the salt, working on gateway. I'm governor of New York and I have a lot to do," Cuomo said.

Governor Cuomo went on to say the eventual Democratic nominee needs to run on a platform that's more than just anti-Donald Trump.

He says he's confident the Democrats will find a viable candidate.
