BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. -- A child was grazed by a bullet while riding in a car on Interstate 95 on Sunday, according to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.

A woman was driving southbound on I-95 when her passenger windows "blew out."

The woman realized the child had been struck and she pulled off at the Fiske Boulevard exit.

A bullet grazed the child in the head, according to deputies. 

As a precaution, the child was flown to Arnold Palmer Hospital.

A group of people were shooting on private land near Tucker Lane, which is near the interstate. Deputies believe they may be responsible.
