ORLANDO, Fla. -- Accused cop-killer Markeith Loyd has dismissed his own motion to remove his lawyers.

Loyd originally wanted to remove his court-appointed attorney but changed his mind during a appearance court Tuesday morning.

He will have a status hearing next week, which Loyd has been asked to attend.

Loyd is charged with the shooting deaths of his pregnant ex-girlfriend, Sade Dixon, and the shooting death of Orlando Police Lt. Debra Clayton.

He is set to go on trial next January.
