Tropical Storm Don has formed in the Atlantic, but it's not expected to be a problem for Florida.

Don was east of the Windward Islands on Monday afternoon.

As of 11 p.m. ET, Don was about 485 miles east-southeast of Grenada, moving west at 18 mph. Maximum sustained winds were 45 mph. It's expected to continue on this path through Wednesday.

Don should move through the Windward Islands late Tuesday and into the southeastern Caribbean Sea. Some strengthening is possible before weakening as it approaches Curacao. This storm is no threat to Florida as most models keep it in the southern Caribbean.

Tropical storm warnings have been issued for Barbados and St. Lucia, with watches for Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
